The Salalah Rotana resort I recommend is beautiful and quiet. The beach is beautiful and long, prompting for walks. Staff nice and polite. Housing great nothing we lacked. The hotel has a car rental but watch out for speeding so watch out for fines

Meist ist Muscat die erste Anlauf- und Orientierungsstelle. Obwohl es sich um eine Millionenstadt handelt, hat man nie den Eindruck sich in einem Ballungszentrum zu befinden, obwohl alle großstädtischen Möglichkeiten für Kultur und Gesellschaft bestehen.

sand, blue sea and lots of birds. The nearby blowholes have a constructed walkway around them and the views in both diresctions are stunning. There’s a cafe at the blowholes, and the petrol station at Al Mughsail has toilets and sells food too.
