Half Day Trekking
Smahan Mountain Nature is located in the south of Oman The reserve was established to protect wildlife in its natural habitats and to promote sustainable use of the natural resources such as wildlife-related tourism. In the Morning we drive up to the plateau, at 1700m, Passing the path with flourishing desert roses and centuries-old Dragon trees. From there, our experienced leader will find the way, which brings us to the path.
We climb down to get on the path, which stretches parallel to the mountain. A grand finale of the tour is the visit of one of the largest sinkholes, Tawi Attair. With 211 meters of depth and a diameter of about 100 m it is the largest of the southern Arabian Peninsula.

After breakfast you will meet with your tour guide at hotel lobby & Proceed to East Khor at Dhariz. Greater Flamingos (Phoenicopterusruber), Eurasian Spoonbill (Platalealeucorodia) and Glossy Ibis (Plegadisfalcinellus) are some examples. Our next stop at AynRazat,A garden and springs, Birds in the area mostly laughing dove, white spectacled bulbul, Ruepells weaver, black start and cinnamon breasted bunting. After finishing at the Ayn (spring), We Proceed to Any Hamran is quite small and when you go there the first time you wonder why it has such a wonderful reputation for good birds. After half an hours walk you know why. If you are Luckily you will see Shikra , There is really good views of Bruce’s green pigeon which is usual present but often not seen. The fruiting trees will have them, Proceed to KhawrTaqah is located at the western entrance of Taqah City in Dhofar Governorate. The lagoon occupies about 2 square kilometres. Many types of birds like, Montagu’s harrier, common snipe, pacific golden plover, juvenile grey plover. Camel Farm
Experience Salalah Farm which is located at Near to Qara Mountain The Guest will start the visit with a presentation about the types of the fruits and vegetables by our English speaking guide then making a small round in the farm and taking photos.
